Portions were much larger than we expected, and service was great. A bit slow since there was only one person working, but he was fantastic. We had pizza cones (genius!), a sandwich, and a flatbread. Then gelato for dessert - our favorite was the Italian almond cookie biscotti, closely followed by the amaretto cherry. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit HHI.

What a find! Great food and coffees. Tried 2 different flat breads, a chicken pesto and a BBQ chicken, fab flavors, all fresh ingredients. Had 2 different coffees which were to die for!! Prices were very good for what you got. Didn't have room for the gelato but it looked fab. The decorating, and music made you feel as if you were actually in Europe! What a wonderful addition to the area. Hope people find this place!!!! Will make it habit!

We have gone to Pino Gelato on Hilton Head for years, but I just noticed the Bluffton location this week. It's a full-scale cafe, with gelato and sorbettos (thee were about 12 flavors today), as well as beautiful salads, sandwiches, cakes and chocs. (We only ordered gelato today, but I saw some delish-looking sandwiches being made for a takeout order.) The owner, Christiane, was also very helpful and great to talk to!

Who doesn't love Gelato. My dad and I just happened to stumbled upon this place looking for another new addition to this complex. We were greeted so warmly (gotta love southern hospitality, even when the people aren't originally from the south). First off the place was so pretty and had a great set up. Secondly they serve pizza in a cone (a new trend I thnk) I didn't have it but still it sounded so cool. A great array of desserts to choose from, and then of course the gelato and fresh sorbet. Now given I'm not supposed to eat dairy, I had to forgo tasting the delicious looking gelato. But the sorbet is all made with fresh fruit and you can tell. I had the mango and it was almost like eating a icee mango, my mouth was in heaven. I also tried the blueberry pomegranate one and just as good if not better. The price is what you expect slightly over priced since it's labeled as gelato, but I don't care because it was so good.

This place is AWESOME! My wife and I came here for the very first time and we were immediately impressed. We had the Italian Almond Cookie Gelato and the Southern Pecan Praline cheese cake. Absolutely amazing, the both of them. I also had a caramel macchiato, delicious! The man who served us was very friendly and sociable. They even play great music! We will definitely be coming back!

We came 30 minutes before closing on a cold December night and there were still lots of people coming in which is a good sign. Although the gelato in Rome can't be beat, Pino was pretty good. We all enjoyed our gelato and will be back. The girls in the counter are very nice and the place is clean.

Great place overall. Love the classic cafe decor. Brought the kids and they love the sorbet and gelato. Great variety and excellent execution on the gelato. Highly recommend as a place to relax after dinner.

The smoked salmon sandwich is great and their chicken pesto crepes are divine. I wasn't sure if I liked pesto but their take on it is phenomenal. This is a must try spot in Bluffton.

We stopped at this place after my niece ran around the nearby indoor playground. I wanted to treat her to gelato because she loves ice cream. We opened the door and I was pleasantly taken aback - there's a baby grand sitting to the right and several vintage urban chic seating areas on both sides of cafe. The decor was spot on - on the upscale of comfy chic without being too pretentious. This place serves some sweet treats, coffee and has a wine selection. Now about the gelato - the hostess/waiter/cashier was pleasant and graciously let us sample some flavors. I tried the limoncello and blood orange sorbetto before settling on the former. My niece tried the winter mint gelato but ended up with the mango sorbetto - she loved every bite! Even the presentation was cute - a miniature sugar cone topped the scoop of frozen deliciousness. My limoncello sorbetto was a perfect balance of sweet, tart and creamy but lite - no sugar crash after trying so I was very happy about that fact. I would also recommend this place as a perfect end to a casual or even upscale date night - I shall return!

Presentation: outstanding. Taste: wonderful. Variety: perfect. I did think it was slightly overpriced for portion sizes (and I love Jenis Ice Cream in Ohio, so I am willing to pay a lot for a little... This was just... Littler). If it was 25c cheaper per dish, I would have given it 5 stars. Also, the majority of the seating is high top, which is hard for families with little ones. The bar stools are more artsy than useful, so keep that in mind if you've never been here and have toddlers. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.

Delicious gelato. Great for after put-put or an evening stroll on the beach. The only downside is that there isn't a lot of room to sit and eat, so if it's really busy, you can walk around the shopping center.

Another great experience at Pino Gelato. Gelato is one of my weaknesses and I have tried it all over the world. Although Rome, Italy may beat all hands down, Bluffton has a hidden gem in this place. The gelato is as good as it gets here in the states. What sets this place apart is they have a great atmosphere as well! It is intimate and inviting. I could sit for hours here and just relax. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

This place has some dynamite Gelato. My boyfriend and I also tried their crepes today. I had the Ham Lover's and he had the Chicken Pesto, and they were just fantastic. I also ordered a cappuccino, which the owner made perfectly, just the way I requested. Moderately priced for really awesome quality food. The atmosphere and decor is great, and the service is top notch. I strongly recommend this place for dessert, or even a casual date because they have delicious sandwiches, cakes, and coffees. The owner is very friendly, funny, and helpful. Will be back often :)

Took a stop here on our trip to Hilton Head. Originally, we found it because there was a Groupon. We ordered two cups of gelato as well as a pizza cone and coffee. The presentation was great! I ordered a small cup of gelato and it was served with a mini cone on top. The coffee was served in its very own one of a kind plate that had a crevice where the spoon should sit (see picture). Before coming here, I had never tried of even heard of a "pizza cone". The description did not sound appetizing, but my boyfriend ordered it anyway and I am so glad he did because it was delicious! What a gem of a place if you're looking for something with Euro flare. The inside had a an upscale cafe feel and was very calming. We came here specifically looking for gelato. Compared to other places we've tried around the country, this place was really good. To me, the flavors were good but not deep, and it was more sugary than creamy. But, I'll take this over Brewsters or Cold Stone anyday. Prices were reasonable for the servings given. Service was quick and friendly.
